Veselka Bulkan heißt die Frau, die auf die grandiose Idee kam, Ultraschallbilder in Webrahmen zu sticken. Das Ergebnis ist wahrlich bezaubernd, die Stick-Kunstwerke schauen nämlich detailgetreu wie ein echtes Ultraschallbild aus. Auf die Idee kam die deutsche Künstlerin, als sie mit ihrer Tochter Maya schwanger war. Nun bietet sie die individuellen Kunstwerke auch auf ihrer Webseite an. Der Preis ist allerdings recht stolz. Da in so einem kleinen Stickrahmen mehrere Wochen Arbeit stecken, kostet das Ultraschall-Stickwerk 300 Euro.
