Damn, that’s some intense, tangible love and support. 💙 Are you part of our @birthwithoutfear community? _ 💙”Dads and partners, remember that birth is a Love Story, and you already know exactly how to love her. You’re better at it than anyone else in the world, and so together you write your unique story. Within you there is innate, biological birthing intuition, every bit as powerful as the birthing mother’s. You just have to learn to let go of your fears and tune into your instincts to protect, support, love, honor, and serve your partner as she brings your baby to the light” – The Curtis Method of Childbirth Education @lauralyncurtis _ 💙Image: @belleverdiglionephotography

It is such a vulnerable time with so much emotion. . Well this is a super personal post, as this is ME in the photo in the trenches of transition! I was nearing the end just a couple hours before my daughter arrived. It isn’t glamorous. It is real. The toilet was giving me the most relief, but I was at the point where I was in tears and I didn’t think I could do “this” anymore. My husband just held me, told me I COULD do this, told me how strong and beautiful I was, and that he loved me. . Today my daughter is 1 week old, and I’m so glad this moment was captured.” .
